Description: While the West was entirely engulfed in darkness, the East witnessed the rise of a magnificent civilization and a scientific and intellectual revolution that became the cornerstone for Europe's emergence from the ignorance of the Middle Ages. During the Golden Age of Islamic civilization—a pivotal period in the history of human civilizations—ancient sciences were on the brink of being lost forever. However, thanks to numerous great figures who preserved and advanced these sciences, human knowledge reached unprecedented heights. Among these remarkable scholars were Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn al-Haytham, Ibn al-Nafis, Al-Battani, Avicenna (Ibn Sina), and Averroes (Ibn Rushd).
But as times changed, Arab culture faced stagnation, losing its leading role. This shift prompts us to ask: What are the reasons behind this decline? Here, we attempt to explore the key problems and present the most important solutions to restore Arab culture to its former glory.
